In this blog, we will discuss how the user can Promote Quote from Salesforce to Sage 300 ERP by using GUMU™. Our product GUMU™ Integration is well known for the real-time, bi-directional sync of data between Salesforce to Sage ERP. Using GUMU™ users can promote Invoices from Salesforce to Sage ERP as well as import the data from Sage ERP to Salesforce. Also, our GUMU™ Integration is built in LWC i.e.: Salesforce Lightning Web Component.
Before you are able to Promote Quote, you will need to make sure that the Account is promoted and you can follow the steps mentioned below.
- Log in to your Salesforce Org.
- Go to “App Launcher”.
- Search for “Account” and check if the Account is Promoted or Not. If the Account is not Promoted then you can Promote the Account using the “Promote Customer” button. (As shown in the below image)
- Create a new Opportunity against that Account and select the Integration Price Book.
Promote Quote
- Click on the “New Quote” button, a page will open where you need to add the necessary information and click on the “Save” button.
- Navigate to the Quote screen by clicking on Quote Number and clicking on the “New ERP Product” button. From here user can add line items to the Quote.
Note: While adding a product to the Quote in Salesforce, we populate pricing for the selected product on a real-time basis from Sage 300 ERP by using SQL.
- After adding all the required information, click on the “Promote 300C Quote” button.
- A pop-up will appear which will display the required data for Quote Promotion.
- Finally, click on the “Promote” button and then click on “OK” to Promote Quote from Salesforce to Sage 300.
- After the Quote is successfully promoted from Salesforce to Sage 300 you will receive a Success message and ERP Number will populate on the Quote object.
- Once the Quote is successfully promoted from Salesforce to Sage 300, you can view the Quote record under Order Entry module of Sage 300 system by using the ERP Number on Quote object.
