Automated email notification on every order closed in Sage 300

The merit of a salesperson is usually measured when the Salesperson achieves his or her sales target during a given period. Also Sales incentive is based on the Sales that the salesperson achieves in the fiscal year. So it is important that the sale person is fully informed of their sales and that  an automated email is sent to the sales person for the every order that he closes.

To achieve this requirement in Sage 300 ERP, we have built a component that sends the emails directly to the sales person assigned about his sales order. Essentially the component is developed with a vision to send automated email notification to the sales person assigned to the orders, so that the sales person can keep track of the order they book.
Below are the features of component for the alert:

1. With Salesperson alert component you can send automated email to multiple salespersons.

2. Sending email to the sales person account is an automated process.

3. Each time when a Sales Order is booked in Sage 300 ERP with appropriate sales person, our routine sends an automated email to all sales person email address; those are attached to the sales order.

4. The Sales person email address is stored in custom table.

5. We have also provided custom maintenance UI to allow the user to edit the email addresses of the sales person which are routinely referred.

Hence, with the help of our Salesperson alert component, salesperson would be able to keep a track of the orders and can also keep a track of their sales that they make in given fiscal period.
Note: The component is developed using Sage 300 SDK, so it is easy deploy and currently compatible with Sage 300 ERP 2014.
