Background:
Previously, users could view transaction-level tax details such as GST rates, amounts, and customer/vendor information. However, there was no direct visibility of the Tax Authority associated with each transaction. This often required users to perform additional lookups or validations to identify the relevant tax authority, especially during audits or reconciliations.
Enhancement Introduced:
With this update, a “Tax Authority” has been added to:
- Sales Register Report
- Purchase Register Report
This column fetches and displays the respective tax authority linked to each transaction, directly within the report output.
