This utility provides an item-wise view of inventory along with the corresponding Quantity Available at each location. Users can select an Item range and Location range to filter the information according to their requirements. The report helps users quickly identify where inventory is available and understand the quantity associated with each location.
The report considers On Hand quantity from inventory locations and also incorporates relevant outstanding transactions. Open Order Entry quantities and outstanding Purchase Order quantities are included based on their respective locations. This provides users with a more informative view of inventory availability rather than relying only on the current on-hand quantity.
The report also displays the Total Available Quantity for each item. In addition, location-specific quantities are presented through separate location columns, making it easier for users to compare inventory across multiple locations from a single report. The report dynamically identifies locations based on the selected Location range and provides up to five location columns.
For example, a company may maintain an item across locations such as WAREHOUSE, GRT, or other storage locations. Instead of checking each location separately, users can view the item and its corresponding quantities together in the report. This can help warehouse and inventory teams understand stock distribution and make informed decisions about inventory movement, purchasing, and order fulfillment.
