In our earlier blog, we explained about the new feature introduced in Sage CRM 2018 R2 i.e. Consent. It helped to capture the global and local legislation surrounding people data, including the GDPR in Sage CRM. In this blog, we will explain how you can maintain tracking of those persons who haven’t responded to the Consent sent.
New Stuff: New feature of … (ellipsis) in Sage CRM 2018
With the release of Sage CRM 2018, Consent module, as well as some new views, have been made available at the database level. The view vConsentedPersons gives the details of all the persons who have actually responded to the given consent. The key clause within the view is the value of the Consent’s status i.e. ‘Consented’.
Since a consent can have either of the statuses i.e. New, Requested, Consented, And Withdrawn. To get the details of persons who haven’t responded to the Consent sent, you have to focus on the records which are under Requested status.
Thus we can create a view with below script and make it available for Groups and Reports.
SELECT ConsentManagement.*, vPersonPE.* FROM ConsentManagement right outer join vPersonPE on pers_personid = cmgt_recordid where cmgt_entityid=13 and CMgt_Status = ‘Requested’ and CMgt_Deleted is null
This will allow us to create our own new Group using the view.
This way we can get a list of all those Persons who have been contacted but have not yet responded.
