In our latest version of GUMU, we have added Discount functionality wherein user can add discount on product level.
New Stuff: Creating Quotes and Orders for Prospects using GUMUX3 connector
User can create quote and order in Sage CRM by adding discounts on line item level and later can promote quote and order into Sage EM. The discount amount will get promoted into Discount 1 field of Sage EM. Discount will be calculated either on Percentage or Amount which will be applied on line item directly. It is applied as per it is defined in Sage EM under pricing structure in Discount 1 field.
We have added Discount Type field in our GUMU™ Configuration screen in Sage CRM wherein we have provided 2 options i.e. Percentage or Amount as mentioned in below screenshot. Please note that, Sage CRM system admin has to set the same default value into this field which is set there in the Sage EM.
- If Discount Type is set as Percentage in Configuration screen (which is Discount 1 field of pricing structure in Sage EM) then calculation will be based on Percentage.
While promoting Quote/Order, we will promote the Line Item discount into Sage EM in Discount 1 field of line item level.
- Similarly, if Discount Type set as Amount in Configuration screen (which is Discount 1 field of pricing structure in Sage EM) then calculation will be based on Amount.
