Sage CRM has never failed to amaze us with various exciting features, be it related to new functionalities or user interface. The ease in adapting changes with few steps of configurations is a value added advantage of Sage CRM. In this blog, we will explain how we adapted changes in Notification list of CRM.
Keeping in mind the main objective of not disturbing the User work space, many drastic changes have been introduced w.r.t Notifications list itself with the last few versions of Sage CRM. However, there has never been any configuration settings provided in front end to change the notification content. Based on one of our Client’s request, we found a way out to reflect changes in the notification list’s content.
Below is the screen shot of Standard Notification list provided in CRM –
To make the changes, follow below steps –
- Go to CRM’s directory path c$\Program Files (x86)\Sage\CRM\\WWWRoot\Themes and edit the file ergonomic.css
- Go to Line no. 4462.
- Here you will find the Standard lines of code defined under ‘.er_notification_link’ function.
- You could make the changes related to text style, font, color, font size etc. under the same function body.
- Save the changes and clear browser cookies.
Changes will be reflected in Notification list as shown below –
In this way, you can either make the changes in the existing parameters as well as add new parameters in the style sheet.
