A Sales Journal Report is a detailed record of all sales transactions within a specific period. It captures key details such as invoice numbers, customer information, products or services sold, quantities, prices, discounts, taxes, and total amounts. This report enables businesses to track revenue, analyse performance, ensure financial accuracy, and comply with regulatory requirements.

In this blog, we are going to discuss about the Sales Journal Report in the sage intacct.

When you click the “View” button, all data for the specified time period and the selected “From” and “To” Customer numbers will be displayed in a table format.

In the top-right corner, users can access a search feature to look up values within any column. They can also choose to display table entries in groups of 5, 10, 25, 50, or view all entries at once.
The “Export to Excel” button allows users to download the report as an Excel file.

This report includes following fields from OE and AR Transaction screen and can be modified according to your requirement.
- Date.
- Customer Name.
- Customer Address.
- Customer TIN.
- Invoice.
- Description.
- Currency.
- Amount.
- Discount %.
- VAT Amount (Output Tax).
- Total Sales.
- Billing Statement.
- VAT Category.
