Sender Details Configuration of GST Application in Sage Intacct

In Sage Intacct, The fundamental idea behind the consumption-based Goods and Services charge is to charge value added at every level of the company’s operations. Additionally, any tax paid on purchases may be credited or set off against the output or income liability. All transactions involving goods and services are subject to this tax. As a result, the Goods and Services Tax does not, in theory, distinguish between “goods” and “services.”

New Stuff: – GSTR2 Report in Sage Intacct

In our previous blog, we had the brief introduction to GST Module in Sage Intacct and in this blog, we will discuss the first step of configuration which will be storing the required information in sender details screen. For this user will need to traverse to Sender details screen in GST Application (Refer Below screenshot).

Upon opening the screen user will see 2 options viz., “Sandbox Environment” and “Live Environment”. Since all the fields are mandatory, user will need to fill required details accordingly for both Environments. (Refer Screenshots below).

All information will be stored after clicking on the “Save Sender Details” button. Fields like Authorization and Sub Key in sandbox Env. will be used to run the background APIs which will fetch the required data and same can achieved using Sender password in the live env. while using reporting functionalities of GST Application.
