In this blog, we will showcase how the new Salesforce – Sage ERP sync option will help users sync additional field values from the Salesforce object to the corresponding Sage X3 ERP module.
For instance, if you want to enable real-time updates of the “Sic Code” field for the Integrated Account of Salesforce to Sage X3 Customer. Follow these easy steps to execute the above:
- Log in to Salesforce Org.
- Navigate to app launcher and select ”GUMU Settings” from the App list.
- Click onto the Import Routine specific for Customers. Navigate to the “Details tab” and click on “SF to ERP” Option.
- Click on the Edit button and then Refresh Fields.
- Map Sic Code field in Salesforce Account object with the corresponding Sic Code field of the Sage X3 Customer module.
- Once the mapping is set, click on the Save button to commit the changes.
- Through this new user-defined mapping, users can now update any field value. Here the Sic Code value of a particular Account from Salesforce to Sage X3 ERP system on a real-time basis.
For e.g. the Sic Code value for the Account in Salesforce when updated, will automatically reflect back on the Sage X3 ERP for the selected Customer.
