GUMU™ Salesforce Tricks & Tips – Synching Additional (Accounts) Fields from Salesforce to Sage X3 ERP

In the previous blog, we looked at the features included in the new Lightning Interface in GUMU™ Integration.

In this blog, we will showcase how the new Salesforce – Sage ERP sync option will help users sync additional field values from the Salesforce object to the corresponding Sage X3 ERP module.

For instance, if you want to enable real-time updates of the “Sic Code” field for the Integrated Account of Salesforce to Sage X3 Customer. Follow these easy steps to execute the above:

  • Log in to Salesforce Org.
  • Navigate to app launcher and select ”GUMU Settings” from the App list.

  • Click onto the Import Routine specific for Customers. Navigate to the “Details tab” and click on “SF to ERP” Option.

  • Click on the Edit button and then Refresh Fields.
  • Map Sic Code field in Salesforce Account object with the corresponding Sic Code field of the Sage X3 Customer module.
  • Once the mapping is set, click on the Save button to commit the changes.

  • Through this new user-defined mapping, users can now update any field value. Here the Sic Code value of a particular Account from Salesforce to Sage X3 ERP system on a real-time basis.

For e.g. the Sic Code value for the Account in Salesforce when updated, will automatically reflect back on the Sage X3 ERP for the selected Customer.
