As Sage 300 provides a functionality to create a custom view, here in this blog we will be discussing about the error “File not found: outofbox.ico” while making the resource.

The above displayed error is not explanatory and the developer cannot understand the same by simply reading it. So check the error file on the path where the error log file is generated like here path – “c:\Dev\gd\source\eng\resource”.

There are more chances where a developer misses a minor change that is required for view creation. After the make command the specific images is not available in “ICONS” folder and hence this error can occur.
Here in this case the “outofbox.ico” logo was missing. So here we need to search for it and need to place it on the required path i.e. C:\Pluswdev\ICONS
