Error Logs in Sage CRM – Sage 100 GUMU Integration

GUMU™ for Sage CRM – Sage 100 application is a real time bi-directional integration link.Using GUMU™ integration, you can integrate front and back office data. Using GUMU™, a user can promote Sage CRM Company, promote sales order from Sage CRM to Sage 100. In addition to this, all the information for Sage 100 customer flows between Sage CRM – Sage 100 on real time depending on your configured settings option in GUMU™ configuration.

If under certain cases, due to some glitch, data is not synced between Sage CRM and Sage 100, then GUMU generates logs for further information in order to identify the actual cause. These logs are generated at different locations on our system on the basis of integration processes which we will be discussing today in this blog.

New Stuff: Map single Sage CRM User with multiple Sage 100 Salespersons

At Sage 100 server:
From Sage 100 server, user can perform below task related to GUMU,
A. Create/update customer from Sage 100 to Sage CRM on real time basis,
While creating/updating records from Sage 100 to sage CRM, logs are generated in below folders of Sage 100 installation directory. Please note that Log file path at Sage 100 server vary from system to system but it will be generated in one of the below path-
1) SOA\GUMU
2) Links
3) AR(MAS Company Code) for e.g. ARABC
4) SO (MAS Company Code) for e.g. ARABC
At Sage CRM server:
From Sage CRM server, user can perform below tasks,
B. Promote customer
C. Promote Order
D. Promote Invoice
E. GUMU tabs (AR inquiry/Order Inquiry/<>) /where we are displaying information on real time basis.
F. Import Product
G. Import Customer
H. Real time update of customer from Sage CRM to Sage 100
Considering all of the above scenarios, if any user comes across any difficulties, then user can look for the log files for detail information on below paths-
Promote Records (Customer/Order/Invoice) and GUMU Tabs: User can check error message at below path of Sage CRM installation directory, “C:\Program Files\Sage\CRM\CRM\CustomDotNet\”
Import Routine: User can check the error message at below path
1. C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\GUMU (for 32 bit system)
2. C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\GUMU (for 64 bit system
Real time Sage CRM to Sage 100 changes : For real time changes between Sage CRM to Sage 100 ,GUMU create a logs at the below path of GUMU installation directory.
