Modification in Creation of Link server in GUMU for Sage CRM- Sage X3

GUMU™ for Sage CRM – Sage X3 integration is a real-time bi-directional link where user can update the information from Sage CRM to Sage X3 and vice versa. In GUMU™ for Sage CRM – Sage X3 integration, user can sync all the customers, products from Sage X3 to Sage CRM using Import process. Sage CRM user can see all the invoice history data and open orders sales data from Sage CRM on real time basis.

Today in this blog, we will discuss about a modification related to Link server that we have made in our latest GUMU integration setup 1.1 version.
In our previous version of GUMU™ for Sage CRM – Sage X3 integration, we used to create two Link servers which were used for Importing Products and Customers using Bulk criteria.
From these two Link servers, one was created into SQL server while other was to be created from Sage CRM as stated in our below blogs.

However, now there is no need to create two Link servers in new GUMU setup 1.1 version as we use only one Link Server for Import processes.
This link server which is used is automatically created into SQL server while installing the GUMU setup for single Sage X3 folder specified during GUMU installation.
