Every new version of Sage CRM has provided with some or the other new features which has improved system stability, user experience, ease in third party apps integration and so on. Sage CRM 2018 R2 has come up with a new feature related to Custom entity, which has helped to load custom entities list faster.
New Stuff: Set Date Format in New Self Service Portal
By default, Sage CRM check every database column of Custom entity table in order to load the data in the list. This can be optimized by doing initial level configurations while creating custom entity list. It will eventually help to look for only those database columns that are added to your custom entity list. So as a result, custom entity list will load faster.
Below are the steps to make configuration in Sage CRM –
- Go to Administration | Customization | <Custom Entity> | Lists.
- To optimize an existing list, click the Change icon.
- To create and optimize a new list, click New. And follow above mentioned step. Refer below image.
- Set No in ‘Use all SQL columns in query’ field. When this option is set to Yes or –None–, Sage CRM looks for data in all database columns.
- Click on Save Button and execute Metadata Refresh.
In this way you can optimize the Custom entity list by loading the data faster through an efficient way.
Note: This option is not supported for standard entities Lists.
