Functionality of Default Company in GUMU™ Sage CRM – Sage 100 Integration

GUMU™ for Sage CRM – Sage 100 application is a real time bi-directional integration link. Using GUMU™, a user can promote Sage CRM Company, promote sales order from Sage CRM to Sage 100. In addition to this, all the information for Sage 100 customer flows between Sage CRM – Sage 100 on real time depending on your configured settings option in GUMU™ configuration.

Today in this blog, we will discuss about the new feature which we have incorporated in our standard GUMU™ product.

New Stuff : Synching Last Sales Order Date using GUMU™ Sage CRM – Sage 100 Integration

We have provided Default Company Option in Configuration so that in case if user don’t select Company Code for any Prospect then it will fetch products and price based on Default Company during Quote/Order process.

User can set a company code as default by using the Default Company field present on configuration screen.

To check which company code is set as default user can follow below steps

Go to the Administration -> Sage100Administration -> Configuration.

Also, user can change the default company code if they have configured multiple Sage 100 company codes.

  • Navigate to “Administration-> Sage 100 Administration -> Configuration” at Sage CRM.
  • Select the company code from the list.
  • Check the Default Company checkbox and Save it

Using this feature, user will now have the ability to create Quotes\Orders for a Prospect (non- promoted customer) without selecting company code on company summary screen in Sage CRM.

As per Default Company setting, it will fetch all the default information (Pricing, Taxes) of default company code for that Prospect while creating Quotes\Orders in Sage CRM.
