Opportunities in Sage CRM helps user to track orders, sales forecast and quotations against every sale. Sage CRM felicities user to summarized sales forecast for personal as well as team level using Pipeline feature at My CRM and Team CRM tab. Pipelines enables statistic panel which shows Number of Opportunities, Forecast, Weighted Forecast, Average Value, Average Certainty, Weighted Average fields. These analysis helps user to gather data in coming period of time regarding estimated forecast and helps them to build future strategies accordingly.
Recently one of our client came up with a request to remove some of these fields from static panel and add some custom field in it. Hiding fields was an easy task using some client side scripting but adding custom fields wasn’t. Statistic panel is rendered through eWare.dll and this code is not exposed.
We have achieved this requirement using Ajax request and client side scripting. User can add any custom field in statistic panel with any filter criteria applied and added Total Annualized Value and Total Annual Value in Statistical panel. Refer below:
We have designed it dynamically so that later if user adds any field in filter box of opportunity existing code will imbibe new filter criteria for custom fields as that of standard fields. Security rights as per logged in user are also been handled.
So user can now able to see desired data in statistic panel which will be further beneficial from business point of view.
