This blog will discuss how to change and set different Quote Reports as default. Initially, when the user navigates to the screen by default it shows one of the reports “OEQUOT01.RPT” from the existing reports.

We were unaware of how to set the Default report other than “OEQUOT01.RPT”. After some investigation, we understood how to do this. Below are the steps to do the same.

  • Log in to Sage CRM.
  • Navigate to an Opportunity and select the “Quotes” tab. Create a quote against the respective opportunity
  • Click on the Post button at the end.
  • Click on Search Symbol and search for the report which you want to set as default instead of “OEQUOE01.RPT”.
  • Select the Report and click on Select.

  • The selected quote report will show in ‘Use Quote’ field. To set selected report as a default follow below steps.

    – Click on “Options”.
    – Click on “Save Settings as Default”.
    – When the settings are saved you will get pop as “Preferences Saved”

Once the above steps are completed and user navigates to the same screen by creating new Quote/Order then they can see default report set in ‘Use Quote’ field is “OEQUOTE”.

Similarly, users can change and set the customized report as the default report for the orders screen as well.
