Send email for urgent payment using Sage Intacct Smart Events

The customer has purchased the product online and when the shopkeeper makes the bill for that product, then the customer pays for it with credit card, debit card and cash.

Sometimes a customer makes a payment after a few days but if the shopkeeper wants an urgent payment for some product, then in Sage Intacct we achieve smart event e-mail functionality, we can automatically e-mail any customer for an urgent payment note whenever the payment is made.

The great thing about automated payment emails is that you can include so many details in emails without the hassle and time to copy and paste their information into each email.

This email provides a detailed list, should the reader be interested, and of their past payment history as well as the exact items they have yet to pay for.

With automation, this step takes no time, but makes your communication look polished and professional.

Steps to create payment bills:

  1. Go to Accounts Payable > All and click the + beside Bills.

  2. When the user creates a bill, then while making the bill, we have to select the Payment Priority Urgently.

Go to the smart event and create smart event for Payment urgent functionality:

  1. To achieve the AP Bill smart event functionality we select AP Bill object.

  2. Set smart event action property to “Email”.
  3. Add smart event for “Add” functionality.
  4. Write {!APBILL.PAYMENTPRIORITY!}==”urgent” condition for sent email.

  5. Add appropriate subject for email.
  6. Add the email body template for Payment priority.
