The Greytrix Sales Commission Application for Sage Intacct is a valuable tool designed for users of Sage Intacct who wish to streamline the calculation and payment of sales commissions for their salespeople. It offers increased efficiency and reduces the need for manual labour.

Depending on the chosen Commission Structure, this application can compute commissions for one or multiple salespeople or employees associated with a commission group. If multiple individuals are assigned to the group, the commission will be allocated based on the specified commission split percentage.

An especially beneficial scenario where this application proves its usefulness is when a company wants to view and post manual commissions solely for the current date. In such cases, users can effortlessly enter the desired manual commission and specify the posting date. This feature simplifies the process of accessing the manual commission header list for the present day, eliminating the need to search through multiple entries for the entire month. Consequently, this feature reduces the effort required for managing manual commission entries and guarantees accurate and timely commission payments.

Once commission calculations are successfully completed, employee commissions can be posted. To post the expenses to the general ledger, simply click on the “Post Commission” button. The accounts used for GL entries will be determined based on the commission group or global configuration selected within the application. Throughout the process, various statuses are maintained to track the progress of employee commissions, indicating whether they have been calculated, posted, or paid.

The “Pay Commission” function is specifically designed to facilitate commission payments for invoices, but it can also be utilized to pay commission entries associated with manual commissions. This feature offers flexibility in managing commission payments and streamlines the overall payment process.
