The WhatsApp Settings screen allows users to configure which transaction types will have the WhatsApp option enabled, as well as specify the report format that will be sent as an attachment.
The Message Template screen enables users to create and manage predefined message formats for various transaction types, ensuring consistent and professional communication with customers and vendors.
- WhatsApp Settings:
As shown in the below screenshot, the WhatsApp Setting screen provides a checkbox for each transaction type. When the checkbox is selected for a particular transaction, the WhatsApp option will be enabled for that transaction in Sage X3.

Additionally, a finder is provided next to each transaction to select the appropriate report code. This report will be automatically attached and sent via WhatsApp when the corresponding transaction is shared.
For example, as shown in Figure 2, if the checkboxes for Sales Order and Sales Invoice are selected, the WhatsApp option will be enabled only for these transactions. The user can then choose the relevant report code using the finder to ensure the correct document is sent as an attachment.

As shown in Figure 3, the “WhatsApp” option is available on the selected transaction screens where the feature has been enabled. To send a message, the user simply needs to click on the “WhatsApp” option. Once clicked, a notification will be sent via WhatsApp to the respective customer or vendor. If a report format has been selected in the WhatsApp Settings screen for that transaction, the corresponding document will be automatically included as an attachment.
- Message Template:

The Message Template screen allows users to define predefined messages for various transaction types. These messages will be automatically shared with the respective customer or vendor via WhatsApp when a transaction is sent. This ensures that all outgoing communication is consistent, professional, and tailored to the specific transaction.
