In this blog, we learn the use of the newly added GUMU™ Feature of Description for Import routines column and Field in the Import Mapping tab.
The description field can be useful for documenting specific characteristics or functionalities of the entity, such as providing additional information or details about the entity being mapped Sage 100, Sage 300C, and Sage X3 System with Salesforce. It helps users, administrators, or developers involved in the integration process to have a clear understanding of the entity being mapped. Users will get default Description for Import routines when the package is installed and also they can change/modify descriptions from Detailed View of Entities.
Description for Import routines
The Descriptions can see both the List view and the Detailed view.
List View will provide users with the ability to view Created descriptions for entities in the Entity mapping / Import tab.
Detailed View will provide users with the ability to Create / View descriptions for entities.
The Description field is the ability to be resized according to the user’s preference. By dragging the field, users can expand or shrink its size to accommodate the amount of information they want to include.
