In our previous blog post, we had discussed the features of our component Quick Shipment. With the release of Sage 300 ERP (Version 2014), we have further enhanced our component with features like ‘Consolidate multiple Orders into a single Shipment’, ‘Advance filtering options etc.
New Stuff: Update long Comments in AR Invoice entry screen in Sage 300 ERP
Component Enhanced Feature list:
- The Enhanced Quick Shipment now has advance filtering parameters like “Order date”, “Deliver by Date” and “Order amount”. User can filter the records according to his desired range.
- We have also provided an “Order number” range selection in the parameter list.
- A ‘New Date’ field has been introduced on the Quick Shipment screen, wherein user can select the date which will be assigned as the “Shipment Date” for the shipments that are generated through our routine.
- A new option “Consolidate Shipment” is provided which will allow users to consolidate multiple orders into a single shipment.
- The Orders are consolidated into a single shipment based on the Customer number combination.
- All the orders belonging to the same Customer number will be combined into a single shipment.

Note: This customization is done using Sage 300 SDK. As a result, it is easy to deploy and works with previous versions like Sage 300 ERP 2012, 2014 and Sage 300 ERP v6.0A.
