In this blog, we will be discussing about data activation error which might occur while activating module in Sage 300 ERP. New Stuff: Possible Cause of Custom Module Activation Error and it’s resolution.
When you try to activate module from Data Activation screen then error screen appears like below.
Error Message: Internal error at 2492 in asactmul1.C. Problem loading ‘C:\Program Files(x86)\Sage\Sage 300 ERP\GD68A\GDINIT.DLL’
Follow the below steps to resolve the error
- Go to the path C:\DEV\QF\SOURCE\VIEWS and open the GDINIT.MAK file in notepad. (ModuleId+INIT.MAK).
- Uncomment the LOPTS line and again make the view using following command.
- MAKE GDINIT –a (MAKE viewname –a)
- Again comment the lines and save for old data activation method. This solution resolves the error.
