GUMU™ for Sage CRM.com – Sage 50 (US) integration link is an external bi-directional sync utility which synch data from Sage CRM.com to Sage 50 (US) and vice versa.
In our previous blog, we gone through the process to Synch orders from Sage CRM Cloud to Sage 50 using GUMU™ synch utility. In today’s blog, we will walk you through the process of synching company data from Sage CRM cloud to Sage 50 customers using Promote Customers sync process.
This process syncs below data.
a. New Companies created in Sage CRM which are marked as linked.
b. Existing company data updated in Sage CRM and marked as linked.
For synching any Sage CRM cloud company to Sage 50, Sage CRM cloud user have to make sure below points,
Step 1:- User has to enter the Customer number value in Customer number field on company summary screen. This is GUMU™ field and mandatory for users to enter customer number in it manually.
Step 2:- The link check box should be checked. If this link check box is not checked then GUMU™ will not synch data between two applications. This checkbox indicates whether user wants to synch this particular customer related data in Sage CRM or not.
Step 3:- Once user created company in Sage CRM cloud, then it can be promoted by running GUMU™ Promote Customer process.
Once company is successfully promoted to Sage 50 application default values will be back updated to Sage CRM.com for Discount %, Discount Days and Net due Days field for that promoted customer.
Please note that while running this process, it also syncs existing customer data to sage 50 which is updated after the last Synch date of this process.
