As you all know, Documents plays a vital role in any business. Various documents are being shared while investing in a business with a Client. Sage CRM do allows to follow/manage the business process through Sales and Service module of CRM. And also the related documents can be added against the Documents tab available against these respective entities.
New Stuff: Exclude All or None options from selection field in Sage CRM
One of our client came up with the requirement that, he wants to create a communication record while uploading a document. Well, this can be achieved through standard functionality available in Sage CRM. If you navigate to the Document upload screen, there is a checkbox available named as “Create Communication and save merged document”. You have to check this checkbox and save the record as displayed in below screenshot.
After following above steps, navigate to the Communications tab available against the same record. Over there, you can see that communication record has been created with the same document attached.
