By | October 30, 2020

OE Debit Note or Credit Note is a document posted when goods supplied are returned or when there is a revision in the invoice value due to goods (or services) not being up to the mark or extra goods being issued by the supplier and receiver of goods and services.

Sage 300 ERP (Sage Accpac ERP) provides users to print the OE credit/debit document through the OE Credit/Debit Notes Form. But standard OE Credit/Debit Notes form in Sage 300 ERP has provision to filter credit/debit notes only on document number, so sometimes it becomes difficult to find those credit/debit notes when user does not have the idea of exact credit note or debit note number. So based on the requirement of one of our client we have customized the OE Credit/Debit Notes form screen to sort the report data based on the Customer and Transaction Date. This makes convenient for the users to find the required credit/debit notes by filtering using Customer and Transaction date.

We have customized the OE Credit/Debit Notes Form screen by including additional controls of the Customer finder and Transaction Date. By selecting the customer and Transaction Date range user can further filter the OE credit/debit transactions posted for particular Customers and Date.

After selecting the From Date, To Date, From Customer and To customer as in the above screenshot and then click on the print button, credit/debit notes will be printed only of the selected customers and within the range of transaction date selected.

If user wants to print all the credit/debit notes of the particular single customer then this customization will be more helpful since user just need to select the same customer number in from customer and to customer and select the transaction date within which user wants to print credit/debit notes of that customer. And same goes with the Transaction Date filter, if user wants to print all the credit/debit notes posted with in particular date range then user just needs to select from date and to date and print the report. Thus using other filters in combination, it is helpful for the users to achieve a desired output in the form of report.

Based on the requirement of the clients any other filters can also be added by customizing the OE Credit/Debit Notes form screen.
