Inaccessible Sage Intelligence Reporting Cloud

Sage Intelligence Reporting is a module in Sage 300 which gives crisp and precise report requirement. It also gives us an added benefit to design reports with in-house team as per our unique business requirements. In Sage 300 cloud sometimes Sage Intelligence Report is not able to respond for Reporting Cloud and displays it on Fade-in and Fade-out mode.

New Stuff: PW Management Inquiry Report

This problem occurs due to inaccessible of Sage Intelligence Reporting Cloud (SIRC) in Web Screen for Admin Users. Here, if Admin User is not able to access  SIRC then Sage Intelligence Reporting Cloud screen does not display any error on screen but instead it starts to Fade-in and Fade-out on main page due to which we cannot proceed further. Please refer below screenshot.

The reason for this Inaccessibility problem for the Admin Users is due to the Web.Config file which gets replaced or changed. Whenever we install new Product Updates, the Web.Config file gets replaced due to which all settings get changed, thus Admin Users cannot access Web API.

Let’s resolve this problem

For this we need to change the configuration settings in two files.
You can browse those files in below path

  1. Online/Web/Web.config
  2. Online/WebApi/Web.config

Search and find “AllowWebApiAccessForAdmin”. Make value=”true”. You must make the same change in both Web.config files.

WebConfig File

If value=” true”. The ADMIN user can use Web API and Sage Intelligence Reporting Cloud.

If value=” false”. The ADMIN user cannot use Web API or Sage Intelligence Reporting Cloud.

After making Changes in both Web.config files please restart IIS services and clear browser cache. And finally, you will be able to access Sage intelligence cloud reporting screen, please see the below screenshot for your reference.
