In Sage 300, an IC transfer module is use to transfer the items between different locations within the same Sage 300 database. This functionality is especially useful for organizations that have multiple companies set up in their system and need to move inventory items between them.
The IC Transfer utility serves as a tool to track the transfer quantities of inventory items between various locations. When an IC transfer occurs, the system records all the relevant information, creating a detailed transaction history for each transfer. This information typically includes details such as the date of the transfer, the source location, the destination location, the items being transferred, and the quantities involved. The utility provides a comprehensive record of each inventory transfer, enabling users to review and analyse the movement of stocks between locations.

Users can filter and generate reports based on specific criteria. This feature allows users to view transfer records according to their requirements, helping them gain insights into inventory movement patterns.
Filter criteria used to extract the IC transfer report:
- From and To Item
- From and To Location
The user interfaces for the Utility of “IC Transfer” Export is as displayed below. The report data will be produced as an MS-excel exported file based on the user-specified Item and Location.
Please refer below the screenshot of the user interfaces for the “IC Transfer Export”.
As per the above screenshot user will be able to specify ‘From’ and ‘To’ Item and Location, based on the same, the report will be generated. The user will be given the option to choose a suitable path for data generation, specifically the path for exporting the Excel output.
Once the user clicks on ‘Export’ button, the system will generate required details of IC Transfer.
