In Sage 300 ERP, the Order Book Report helps businesses analyze sales orders. To make the report more meaningful and aligned with client requirements, we have introduced a couple of new enhancements.

New Stuff : – Automating BOM Purchase Orders in Sage 300
Key Enhancements
- Change from Ship Date to Order Date
Earlier, the report interface displayed Ship Date as the main selection criterion. Based on client feedback, this has now been replaced with Order Date.
- Users can now generate reports based on when the order was created, not when it was scheduled to ship.
- The interface has been updated with From Order Date and To Order Date filters for easy selection.
Below is the updated interface for the “OrderBookReport”:

- Addition of Salesperson Column
We have also added a new column for Salesperson in the report output. This field reflects the primary salesperson assigned for the order. With this new column, you can:
- Track orders handled by each salesperson.
- Analyse sales performance across your team.
Output Report
The generated report now includes the Salesperson column along with existing fields such as Customer Number, Item Number, Order Value, etc. Users can filter data using the updated parameters (Order Date, Customer Number, Salesperson, Item Number) to view customized results.
