In Sage CRM v7.3 SP3 onwards, Quick Template option has been introduced in Sage CRM. This option is available into Document Templates section. In this blog, we will be explaining how one can modify template which gets printed on clicking on Print Quote button.
New Stuff: Set properties of Multiline Text field in Sage CRM
In native Sage CRM, you can view the Print Quote button on Quote Summary screen. Refer below screenshot.
On click of Print Quote button, Quote template is printed in PDF format and gets displayed into a new window. Refer below screenshot.
Consider you want to your own template to be printed on clicking of Print Quote button. To do this, you need to follow below steps.
- Login into Sage CRM with Admin user.
- Navigate to below path in Sage CRM.
Administration | Email and Documents | Document Templates.
- Click on Add File Upload your template by selecting your template.
- Below screen will be displayed. Fill the details in respective fields and click on Save button.
- Now again select the template and you will observe Quick Template check box is available at the bottom of the screen. Refer below.
- Check Quick Template checkbox and click on Save button.
Once done, click on the Print Quote button and you will observe that your template will get printed as shown below.
Similar steps can be followed to print your own template on Print Order button which is available on Order Summary screen.
