Error Logs path in Sage CRM – Sage X3 GUMU™ Integration

GUMU™ for Sage CRM – Sage X3 integration is a real-time bi-directional link where user can update the information from Sage CRM to Sage EM and vice versa. Using GUMU™, a user can promote Sage CRM Company, promote sales order from Sage CRM to Sage X3. In addition to this, all the information for Sage X3 customer flows between Sage CRM – Sage X3 on real time depending on your configured settings option in GUMU™ configuration.

New Stuff: Pre– Requisites for installing GUMU for sage CRM- Sage EM

If any error occurs wherein data is not synced between Sage CRM and Sage X3, then GUMU generates logs for further information in order to identify the actual cause. These logs are generated at different locations on your system on the basis of integration processes which we will be discussing today in this blog.

At Sage CRM server:

From Sage CRM server, user can perform below tasks,

1. Promote Customer
2. Promote Quote
3. Promote Order
4. Sage X3 Lookup screen
5. GUMU tabs (Business Partner, AR inquiry and Order Inquiry tabs) where we are displaying information on real time basis from Sage X3
6. Import Product
7. Import Business Partner
8. Real time update of customer from Sage CRM to Sage X3

Considering all of the above scenarios, if any user comes across any difficulties or errors, then user can look for the log files for detail information on below paths-

Promote Records (Customer/Quote/Order) and GUMU Tabs: User can check error logs message at below path of Sage CRM installation directory with prefix Date ExternalMSG.log 

“C:\Program Files\Sage\CRM\CRM\Logs folder”

Import Routine: User can check the error message at below path
C:\Windows\SysWow64\inetsrv\GUMU (for 64 bit system

Real time Sage CRM to Sage X3 changes : For real time changes between Sage CRM to Sage X3 ,GUMU create a logs at the below path of GUMU installation directory.
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Greytrix\GUMU for Sage CRM – Sage X3\Logs\”
