Suppress display of duplicate meeting records in Company and Person Context.

Sometimes, we may encounter duplicate meeting records that have been created against Company and Person. As this is not the most attractive way of representing data. Moreover, it may lead to confusion. In this blog, we will explain, how to suppress the display of duplicate meeting records in the Company and Person context.

Below is the example, which shows the default behavior of Sage CRM. Where there are multiple records are displayed for the same meeting. Refer to the below screenshot.

Below are the steps that need to be followed:

  • Log in to Sage CRM.
  • Navigate to Below path
    Administration | Customization | Communication
  • Navigate to List tab. Click on New.
  • List name as CommDedupeList and view name as vListCommunication.
  • Click on Save.

  • Now, select the newly created list and add the below fields.

  • After the required fields are added. Update it and click on Save.
  • Now perform a MetaData refresh .

Now, navigate to the communication tab and check the record it should display only one meeting record.
