Sage CRM 2021 – Changes in Self Service Portal

Every year Sage comes up with a new version of Sage CRM with adding some new functionality, overcoming addressed issues from the previous version, changing user interface, etc. In the Sage CRM 2021 release user interface of self-service portal has also been changed.

New Stuff: Sage CRM 2021 R2: Word wrapping not supported

Below are some of these changes.

  • Self Service Login Page
    Log in page Sage 2021 has been changed in look and feel. Refer below screenshot from old the latest version.

  • Support Tab
    Support tab in previous versions used to display cases list logged against that company in a single list as shown below.

In Sage CRM v2021 onwards, Dashboard pipeline has been added under the Support tab.

Create a Case: By clicking this, Customers can “Log a New Case”.

All Cases: It displays “All Cases” against the customer in tiles form.

Open Cases: It displays all the “Open Cases” against the customer in tiles form.Closed Cases: It displays all the “Closed Cases” against customers in tiles form.

Due to above, Customers can directly see their cases and their progress without filtering data. CSS and UI also been modified so look and feel is also enhanced. If users want to make changes in the user interface one can make changes in the ewaress.css file.
