Sage X3 has the special feature of translating the description text of the objects. The function “Text Translation” (FUNTRAAXX) is used for translating the descriptive text of the table fields from one language to another.
Setup > Text Translation (FUNTRAAXX):
The Source is the source language and the Translation is the field in which in you have to mention the name of the language in which text need to be translated to. In the Table field you need to mention the name of the table on which you need to perform the translation function.
Note: You can select only those tables, which has the translational text e.g. ITMMASTER, QUEUE, GLED etc.
After mentioning the header details system will automatically populate the Source and then the user enters the translational text & on clicking “Text Update” button it will translate the text from source language to destination language.
Kindly refer to the below screen shot of better clarification in which we have translated the text of ITMMASTER table from ENG (English) to ITA (Italian) language.
