You may come across a scenario where you want to modify the customer return quantity after the creation of customer return.Sage X3 have a special feature to achieve this functionality.Follow below steps to achieve this feature:
Navigate to Sales -> Returns -> Customer returns
(select a delivery from left list and create a customer return of full quantity entered in delivery.(see below screenshot)
As you can see in the above screenshot, the return qty field is disabled and this will not allow the user to modify the qty.
To overcome this click on action button of the line and then click on “Change Receipts”.
After clicking on action button below screen will display.
Enter the return qty you want to return as shown above screenshot and click on save button. After changing qty return qty is updated on customer return screen.(see below screenshot).
This way we can modify the return qty.
