How to create Group of Tasks in Sage X3?

You may have come across a situation where you need to run multiple Tasks in a Batch Process. This can be achieved using Group of Tasks feature in Sage X3.

Example:

Let us assume that 2 tasks – TASK1 and TASK2 need to be run in a pre-decided sequence. This can be achieved using Group of Tasks in Sage X3. Follow the below steps to create Group of Tasks in X3.

Go to Usage>>Batch Server>>Group of Tasks.

Under the Tasks tab and the tasks in the required sequence.

Refer the below screenshots where 2 tasks TASK1 and TASK2 are added in the group.

While submitting the tasks, add the name of group in the Group filed. Refer the below screenshot:
