In Sage X3, ‘Table setup/import’ is a coding translation function that is used to describe the correspondence between a Sage ERP X3 import/export template and file created by other templates, but also to give the default values to fill the fields that are not present in the original template.
Navigate to Parameters > Usage > Imports / Exports
- Field no: Specify the number of the X3 template field.
- Condition: We can add any condtioin as per the requirement, If the condition is not verified, the field will be empty.
- Initialization: Specify a value or an expression that will force the value of this field (default value).
- Execution button: Allows us to select the template file and execute it.
With the help of this screen, we can create a file which can be imported by using standard Sage X3 import/export template.
