Pre-requisite:
- Excel Add-in should be installed & configured. After installing & configuration, Launch Excel or open any Excel file on the computer where the SEI Excel Add-in has already been installed. Authenticate yourself using the credentials to connect with the Central Point. You can select the existing Central Point or add new Central Point using a valid Domain Name, Username & Password.
- Once you have established a successful connection, before importing data models, the data models created in SEI Web Client need to be made available. And if it’s not, it could be done easily by jumping to the Administration section and then clicking on Excel Publish. Then Excel Publish window is displayed, select the data models that need to be publish/imported.
Once you have completed the above mentioned 2 steps, you’ll come across new sets of menus created by SEI in excel Add-in section
As we can see, SEI provides different Excel Add-in features accessible through the Add-ins menu.
