Creation of Default Entities and Mappings using GUMU’s New Lightning Interface

Data between a Sage ERP and Salesforce can be synced by utilizing “Entity mappings” functionality of GUMU™. However, individually creating each mapping can be time-consuming and tedious. Therefore, GUMU™ Integration for Salesforce enables its users to create some standard entities and their mappings by default. This feature helps reduce user efforts of having to manually create entity and mapping for some basic (Salesforce CRM) entities with related data from Sage ERP.

Prerequisites:
– Ensure that Lightning View is enabled in Salesforce Org.
– GUMU™ Integration package is installed
– ERP is configured with Salesforce

Follow these steps for creating the default entities:

  • Click on “App Launcher” → “GUMU Settings” tab → “Configuration” tab.

  • Navigate to the Integration for which the default entities are to be created.

  • Click on the “+” icon in the Action list, corresponding to the chosen Integration.

The default entities and the default entity mappings are automatically created and can be seen in the “Entity Setting” and “Entity Mapping/Import” tabs respectively.

Once the entities are created they can be updated for synching additional fields.
