How to Resolve ‘No Requirement to Consider’ Error while Creating Purchase Order in Sage X3
The error below will sometimes pop up when dealing with products of a service nature, and we will explore how to resolve it.
Resolution:
Navigate to Parameters> General parameters> Parameter values
The parameter DEFITMKND default service type should be maintained as ‘service’ to ensure requirements to consider the service nature are linkable at the purchase order screen.
When the default service type is set to subcontract, a user will face the ‘no requirements to consider’ error since the system does not recognize the product as a subcontract but as that of a service nature. The below error will appear while creating the purchase order.
