In this blog, we will discover the remarkable power of our custom report, which filters data based on Optional Fields.
Sometimes, the user may need to filter records based on specific criteria, particularly on optional fields. However, the standard report lacks this functionality in certain areas. To address this, we have designed a Custom Crystal report that fulfills the customer’s desire for filtering records on optional fields, offering a more flexible and personalized reporting solution.
We have developed a Custom AR Aged Trial Balance report that provides filtering capabilities based on a specific optional field as per customer requirements. Below is the overview of the process for the same.
- We have use a macro to interact with the user. Below is the screenshot of the same.
a. Optional Field Name: Name of the Optional Field
b. From and To Optional Field Value: are the values associated with the optional Field Name
- Enter your preferred values, then click “Print”.
