At the core of this issue, there are two essential files: a4wcontainer.exe and a4wcontainerxp.exe. These files are crucial for the smooth functioning of Sage 300 screens. Without them, navigating through the software becomes extremely challenging. Sometimes these files might be accidentally deleted by the user or by antivirus software.
Please find below the image of the files which can be found in Sage 300 application path/ runtime folder.
Solutions:
- Check a backup of Sage 300 application folder and restore a4wcontainer.exe & a4wcontainerxp.exe filesfrom backup folder into Sage 300 application path/ runtime folder.
- Alternatively, if a backup isn’t available, the user can opt to reinstall the Sage 300 Application to ensure the proper installation of these critical files.
