In Sage CRM, Recent list is used to quickly review previously visited records. In earlier blogs, we have explained Manage the size of the Recent List and Delete Recent List item in CRM. In this blog, we will explain how to alter other field into Recent List for custom entity.
New Stuff: Troubleshooting issues with Data Upload in Sage CRM
When user visits any record of Primary entity in Sage CRM, that particular record gets added into Recent List. User can simply click on the hyperlink of the record in Recent List and quickly navigate directly to that particular record.
Consider an example, we have Contract entity created in our Sage CRM and it shows Contract Name into Recent List as shown below.
Now suppose you want to display Contract Number into Recent List then it can be done by following below steps.
After this changes, navigate to any record and check Contract section in recent list; it will show Contract Reference Number as shown below.
- Login to Sage CRM with Admin user.
- Navigate to Administration | Customization | Translations.
- Below screen will be visible to you. Enter below details and click on Find button.
Caption Family: Contracts
Caption Code: NameColumn
- Click on the Caption Code Hyperlink and below screen will get displayed.
- Change all the Translations from Cont_Name to Cont_ReferenceNumber and click on Save button.
- After this changes, navigate to any record and check Contract section in recent list; it will show Contract Reference Number as shown below.
With above steps, you can alter Recent List for any other custom entity.
