Duplicate Email Notification in Sage CRM 2020R1 at time of “Send To MailChimp”

We Know MailChimp is one of the most useful at the time of Mass Email Sending for Marketing. As we know using MailChimp integration with CRM, we can send emails via group, however in group of company or person there are duplicates of mail address of persons and companies. One of the new feature in Sage CRM 2020 is detecting duplicate email for avoiding duplication of data. In earlier version of Sage CRM this type of functionality is not available.

Also for more convenient under ‘Marketing’ dropdown new tab is added name as ‘Duplicate Emails’, which shows the all the records with duplicate email address in the database. This tab helps users to identify records which help to prevent the error at the time of sending emails using MailChimp to the groups. As shown below,

We create new group of person which contain number of persons with same email address.

Then click on ‘Send To MailChimp’, As shown in below:

After clicking on ‘Send To MailChimp’ because of enabled duplicate email detection functionality it shows Notification which shows number of duplicate email as below,

On click of notification it navigates us to a new dynamic group that has been created automatically. It shows records with the duplicate email addresses. The group is created with the same name but with the suffix ‘_Error
