We have got into a situation where we were not able to set the Dimension types listed in the invoice elements (master) screen. Because of this, when the Sales Invoice is posted, the dimensions are not posted for the discount amount.
We were looking out for different options which will provide us with the solution.
We have found that if we set the Parameters>Organizational Structure>Default Dimensions [GESCDI] function for sales footer elements; we will get the Dimension Type for Invoicing Elements.
