In Sage ERP X3 version 7, Sage has enhanced the security for dealing with files. Now in version 7, we cannot directly get access to or store the files anywhere in the system. After some research, we were able to find the feature of X3 storage classes incorporated in version 7.
New Stuff: How to change Screen font in Sage ERP X3?
Follow below steps to create storage areas in Sage ERP X3.
- Navigate through Usage > X3 Storage Areas as shown in below screen shot.
- Click on Create button and create a new storage area as shown in below screenshot. (Note: The root should be your Folder name.)
- Now create a folder in the respective folder directory with the same root name as mentioned in the Storage area. Please refer below screenshot.
- Now you can use this folder to store and retrieve the files in Sage ERP X3.
