We might know how to add the Single dimensional field in the selection tab while creating the object. Refer to the below screenshot, to add a field in object selection.

Make Table and Field column as blank and write code [File abbr]Fieldname(index) in expression column (dimensional field with index )and specify Type column as Datatype of Field.
