In Sage Enterprise Management, we may come across a scenario where the user wants to close sales orders manually, but the close button is closed. This functionality can be achieved by the following steps:
Navigate to: Sales → Orders → Orders
Refer below screenshot, you can see that, the close button is disabled here.

Follow the below steps, to solve this:
- Step 1: Go to customer screen which we used in the sales order screen. Suppose ‘AO001’.
- Step 2: Go to commercial tab.
- Step 3. Ticked the checkbox of ‘Allow order close’ field.

Now, go back to the sales order screen, create new sales order with same customer, you can see that close button is enabled now. Check below screen shot:
