Often it is required that a Sales invoice is printed before posting. However, it is not mandatory in Sage X3 by default. So, if you want to make the printing of Invoices mandatory before posting then following are the steps to do so:
1. Go to ‘Parameters -> General parameters -> Parameter values’.
2. Select the TC from the Parameter Value left list.
3. Right click on ‘INV’ group and select the ‘Detail’ option.
4. Locate ‘SIVCFM’ parameter and set its value to ‘Yes’.
5. Now Click OK and finally click on ‘Save’.
That’s it and now the ‘Post’ button on the Sales invoice screen will be disabled until the Invoice has been printed.
