This blog refers to the issues faced in installing patches in Sage ERP X3 v7 with destination type ‘Server’. Read ahead for the solution If even after entering proper path for the patch files, you are getting the below error:
GUMU™ Sage CRM Integrations : Sage ERP X3 | Sage 100 | Sage 500 | Sage 300
To overcome the situation, you just need to follow few simple steps before installing the patch:
- First confirm which folder you need to install the patches. Here we will consider X3 folder.
- Then go to path where Sage ERP X3 folders are installed. Considering the Sage ERP X3 folders are installed in C: drive of the system,
C:\Sage\SAGEX3V7\X3V71\folders\X3\PATCH
- Copy all the patch files that you need to install in Sage ERP X3 under this path.
- Once copied, login to Sage ERP X3 folder and go to
Development -> Utilities -> Patch Integration
Select destination type as server and type [PATCH]\ in the patch text field as shown below
